These are some of the tools that we use to
help maintain fitness and teach specific Safety skills. All
clients are encouraged to get some or all of the following for
personal home use.

Fitness-Mad Swiss Ball with Pump
& DVD
A 'Swiss Ball' is great for
developing core strength and stability.
Protectics PSS (in common with many other
exercise, sport and combat systems) stresses
the fact that core strength and stability is an
excellent basis for virtually all physical
movement.

A 'Powerball' is an
excellent way of increasing your grip a n d
wrist strength. Protectics PSS teaches you
simple and effective ways to defeat a physical
attack that do not rely on strength alone.
However it makes sense to maximize and optimize
whatever strength you have and Powerball will

ways to increase strength, endurance and speed.
One of the basic training tools that we use are
light weights.

Lateral Stepper
I am not a great fan of
jogging. It's high impact and the variable
weather limits when I can go. A lateral stepper
with cords to work the arms is something that I
use fairly regularly and it's a great basic
warm-up if a student gets to class late.
