"Robert
Agar-Hutton considers himself a student,
he has an inquisitive mind and is not
afraid to get to the root of any problem. It is
probably because of this that he is one of the
most knowledgeable and motivational instructors
I have ever been privileged to
encounter.

"Ok. If you
know me then you know I focus on reality and
deliberately try to avoid macho hype and BS.
That nonsense will NOT protect you on the
street! SO there aren’t a lot of martial
artists out there that I will
endorse.
"Robert
Agar-Hutton is different. Not only does he
teach a VERY practical and effective style of
self defense he has the ability to cut to the
chase and do it with a sense of humor that
makes the learning fun!
"My students are
even more critical of instructors than I am and
they are still talking fondly of the seminar
Robert put on at my school. (BELEIVE ME THAT IS
RARE!)
"SO if you ever
get the chance to train with him … do yourself
a favor and do so ... you will learn a lot and
have a great time … !

"Robert
Agar-Hutton is one of a rare breed of martial
artists - someone who actually thinks deeply
and critically about what it is he is doing!
Robert has been training in martial arts for
longer than I care to think about and has tried
his hand at quite a number of different arts.
Presumably this has contributed to his ability
to always find a new angle from which to
examine his training.
"Many martial
artists view the physical aspects of their art
in a vacuum. They give little or no thought to
the psychology of violence, the build up to
physical confrontation, nor to how we deal with
the emotional aftermath. Not so with Robert. I
have found his insights in these areas to be
informative and thought provoking. For this
reason alone he is certainly someone worth
training with.
"I know that my
students found his visit to our club not just
educational but refreshing and enjoyable to
boot. So, if you get the opportunity, don't
miss out on training with Robert. I'm sure
you'll find it very rewarding.
